Feeling helpless and shattered after my soul dog Penny had a seizure today and has been hospitalized.

I’ve never had such a visceral pain like watching it happen. Penny carried me through so many dark points in my life, and I feel so helpless.

She’s staying at the pet hospital for at least 24 hours. She had a second seizure while in their care.

I don’t want to live in a world without Penny.

A Robin fledgling is still learning to fly in my backyard. It’s hidden now in some vines. I’ve had to rescue it out of a window well, and up to the fence to prevent the dogs from finding it.
