I'm in a tight money crunch (business as usual as ever).
The market is in a big RAM / SSD memory crunch.
But the wife's laptop is acting up and I have to consider a replacement. At the worst possible moment in recent history to purchase hardware. Oh well....

@trbutler I am using dark Bird UI right now. Standard is also good, but what I *really* would have liked would have been a Tangerine dark version manually configurable.
This is because my desktop theme is a re-creation of the old KDE1 environment which is all grey (much like Windows 95) and light, but I like my microblogging themes dark, thank you!
I want to be clear that I don’t hate AI. I hate abuse of people, abuse of resources, theft of other peoples property, replacement of humans by machines that produce a substandard outcome, and the enshittification of the economy for profits for the wealthy.
Solve those things and I love the concept of AI.

Well, yesterday was hectic to the hilt. Now it's just hecitc, which is business as usual.
