Oh my, why can't the Tangerine theme have a dark version?!?
@sombragris It does... it's auto dark mode based on system dark mode. Probably my favorite feature of #TangerineUI over the otherwise excellent #BirdUI, which can't do auto switching. (However, you can still switch to Bird UI or default Mastodon in the Appearance preferences…
@sombragris BTW, how do you like standard vs. TangerineUI vs. Bird UI generally? I think this makes it a tad friendlier for the folks from the church trying out the Fediverse. Bird UI maybe even more so, but I do like the auto dark mode…

@trbutler I am using dark Bird UI right now. Standard is also good, but what I *really* would have liked would have been a Tangerine dark version manually configurable.

This is because my desktop theme is a re-creation of the old KDE1 environment which is all grey (much like Windows 95) and light, but I like my microblogging themes dark, thank you!

@trbutler and, btw, I really like that church folks are trying the fediverse. We need them here and except for the lack of real DMs, it's not even funny to compare it to other more mainstream platform such as the birdsite or the butterfly site. Mastodon is so much more powerful!
