Hi my name is Sofia and i like messing with old electronic stuff.

🔧 I like DIYing and salvaging interesting electronic components.

💻 I'm coding in Go, TypeScript, and C++ (for embedded stuff).
🔭 Working as DevOps and Observability (god i love monitoring systems and networking).
🎧 I like electronic music, especially D&B, Jungle, Breakcore, Hardcore, Techno. (and many others too)
🎹 When inspiration hits, i'm making my own silly music ^_^

Right now i'm working on DIY modular analog synth from scratch. (i'll post some progress in future)

@irene my first boss was a firm believer in naps. Every afternoon, he would come to each of our labs and remind us to knock off for a half hour or so. About 45 minutes later, he would come by with a fresh pot of coffee and invite us back to his office where he had opened a new bag of chocolate chip cookies (yes, new daily). He would ask us what worked that day, what didn’t, and what we were planning for the upcoming days. This was in 1978. Great guy.

Suddenly, everyone's an "AI expert" because they've used Apple's "Intelligence" (AI), and GitHub becomes synonymous with Git itself, confusing newbies. It's all fun and games until your grandpa or mom asks you to explain the difference between "the GitHub" and "the Git."

In a big, empty room filled with computers, there's an old Sun Solaris server sitting under a desk no one remembers. It has an uptime of over 20 years. Every day, a cron job runs on a forgotten Solaris box, generating critical financial data everyone uses to make retirement investments. Even though no one thinks about this box, everyone needs it & fetches that data using FTP. It works all alone, making sure people can retire comfortably. It's like a secret helper, quietly working in the cold.
