@thalia That is a surprisingly hard question to answer because I have many favorites, in terms of looks. I would say the most recent one that has made that list the my Commodore 8296D. It was a European PET computer that I converted to North American power. One of the last models made.
@altomare I have Attache 8:16 I'm working on and it's a basket case. Not sure if I can get it running but if you have one, I have one question. Can the Attache run without the 8086 card? It would be much easier to troubleshoot.
@altomare Love the Otrona Attache as well. I happen to be working on an Otrona Attache right now :) Not this one, this one works.
@janbeta That looks really good from here. That 3000T board seems to have cleaned up very nicely.
@vga256 Very interesting. I used to have a collection of viruses back in the day when I worked in a higher ed computer lab.
@tubetime If you are trying to put silver on the raised letter facing, you could use silver metallic colored oil based paint Sharpies. I use this for touch-ups for worn off paint on lettering and trim (usually on calculators). Should work just as well for this but it takes a little practice the first time. https://www.amazon.com/Sharpie-Oil-Based-Markers-Assorted-Metallic/dp/B000I0VMJU

@jfmezei @vga256 Thanks anyway. I didn't even know there was personal computer software so I'll have to keep a look out for it.
@vga256 The Installation and User Guide. Looks like the Telephone icon is "Terminal is in Ready State". That's good! https://vintagecomputer.ca/files/AlexTEL/AlexTEL%20Installation%20and%20User%20Guide.pdf I guess I should do the French manual too.
@pierrenick @vga256 It's hard to tell. At least your monitor works but I would definitely reseat the analog (monitor) board just in case it's a loose connection. Even if the bottom board was loose, you still see something so it can't be that.
