Kinda curious what inspired LifeHacker to publish a "How to Become the Pope" article that includes many gems, but this one is especially great:
Suburban Aussie posties are cyberpunk af.
Every day I see them go past my front window for a split second, with the whirr of the electric bike and snatches of unintelligible AM radio chatter, features almost invisible behind the fluoro yellow hats and coats that shade them from the inhospitable summer ultraviolet.
Sometimes there’s a pause and a thunk as they deliver mail. Sometimes there’s a half-wave. I wave back. They whirr away again.
Who needs jetpacks when there are cyberpunk posties?
The <b> HTML element is used to draw the reader's attention to the element's contents, which are not otherwise granted special importance. This was formerly known as the Boldface element, and most browsers still draw the text in boldface. However, you should not use <b> for styling text or granting importance. If you wish to create boldface text, you should use the CSS font-weight property. If you wish to indicate an element is of special importance, you should use the <strong> element.
I needed to read this today. My New Years revolution is to live life vibrantly, like a benevolent alien.
I think it might help. 🧡
