Using rsync for backups, because it's not shiny and new

I stream nothing, and I am happy.

Linux on a Mac (it's not going back)

@alienghic @dilmandila Hi Diane! And yes, I have a Debian machine that is fully disconnected and has been from the beginning. It stores my backups. I can use apt-offline to shuttle package updates to and from it (I do so over NNCP but you can use whatever filesystem you like). https://changelog.complete.org/archives/10186-more-topics-on-store-and-forward-possibly-airgapped-zfs-and-non-zfs-backups-with-nncp is one article that talks talks about that one.
Also if you're interested in making it easier manage files and synchronize stuff without continuous internet @jgoerzen has written a bunch about synchronization tools that can work over removable media or short range LANs.
One of the core tools is something called nncp, and it has a tag on his blog
https://changelog.complete.org/archives/tag/nncp
He's used it to do things like synchronize git repositories https://changelog.complete.org/archives/10274-distributed-asynchronous-git-syncing-with-nncp
Or provide email that can work over removable media or when a mobile device happens to be in range.

Given how consistently Greg Bovino is at the scene of unjustified violence against ICE observers, including today's shooting, and given Bovino's refusal to answer whether Stephen Miller has given him instructions about violence against protestors, it's time to ask whether Miller has ordered this violence.

"COVID is still with us and it continues to evolve. So, it’s worth continuing some of those protective habits, like testing if you feel unwell, wearing a mask in busy indoor spaces and keeping up with vaccinations."
