My household/found family is living in the hostile US south on a single disability check that only just covers utilities. We have no food benefits, and my medicine and clinic visits are really expensive.

Got ADHD combined type diagnosis today 😬

This YouTube channel Neurodivergent Insights is one of my current favorites for autism, ADHD, and AuDHD dialogue. They are very clear with their explanations, and even though they are a clinician, they are very much a part of our community.

In this particular video, they use the term "special interest solar systems" to explain how autism and ADHD intersect where autism is predominant. Found that rather fascinating to frame it in this context.

Puh. Nachdem ich mich im Rahmen meiner Abschlussarbeit so ins Systemische, verbunden mit Neurodivergenz reingenerdet habe, ist mir diese ADHS-Kurzdoku schon nach 5 Minuten zu undifferenziert - OBWOHL zwei Expert*innen eingeladen sind, die einzeln vom Host befragt werden.

Woran liegt das konkret? Für mich gibt es 3 Pole, die je zu zweit eine Argumentationsrichtung ergeben.
