Due to the vertically (rather than horizontally) staggered key layout, it has also revealed some bad typing habits that I have!

For example, I type the letter C with my left index finger, when I should be using my left middle finger. I wonder if that has contributed to some of my RSI issues over the years?!

I got a new mechanical keyboard in advance of starting my new job at Asana. (I got the Iris CE: https://keeb.io/products/iris-ce-keyboard-kit)

My typing speed for English words without punctuation is around 90 wpm on the Macbook keyboard and my familiar Goldtouch split keyboard. On the Iris, it's gone from 35 to 58 after 30-60 minutes of practice. Ouch!

I just tried to catch up on #formula1 via F1TV while on vacation, and of course it’s region blocked. Stupidest fucking thing 🤬🤬🤬

It took five years to write, but here's the full story behind Lambda School, Silicon Valley's disastrous foray into for-profit education.

I explain how they burned through $120 million in funding, why Income Share Agreements failed, the crimes committed along the way, and how one developer turned journalist put an end to the fraud.

Two days after his company's downfall, Austen Allred wrote: I wish people could see how ugly it is to be envious, and how obvious it is to those around you when that's what's happening. There's not much uglier than trying to tear someone down because they achieved what you wish

This sounds fascinating. Not where I expected this review to end:

ā€œHe went into that studio a week before his death and he drew and he painted. I learned something invaluable, which is that you’re alive as long as you’re alive.ā€

Jill Ciment’s New Memoir Revisits Her Affair With a Much Older Man

Jill Ciment’s 1996 memoir ā€œHalf a Lifeā€ described her teenage affair with the man she eventually married. Her new memoir, ā€œConsent,ā€ dramatically revises some details.

If I was to start a blog to write about my #musical writing side-product, what services (or self-hosted options) should I be looking at? Or should I just make another Mastodon account for it? šŸ¤”

This is coooool! 🤯 How concepts map across an LLM’s artificial neurons.

Here’s what’s really going on inside an LLM’s neural network

Anthropic's conceptual mapping helps explain why LLMs behave the way they do.

Looks so goooood! šŸ˜ It seems that there’s more dialog and character development compared to the musical. I wonder if the leaned more on the book for that, or wrote new stuff from scratch? šŸ¤”
