I'm sorry.

Life happened.

I'm still trying my best no matter how flawed that is.

Here is a random WIP screenshot.

See you next week and thank you for watching over me as I move at my own pace.

I made Moss Moss, a #pico8 game about mossing the world and finding secrets. Hope you enjoy ♥

Had nightmares so I'm up.

For this week I've been working towards getting basic character designs in game and combat working.

Didn't finish in time to have something worth showing but I'm still trying.

See you next week.

Well, look who finally put money where the muse is. Ireland’s launching a permanent basic income for artists: 2,000 selected people get $385/week for three years, backed by Budget 2026’s $21.66m. A little financial scratching post for creativity—who’s applying? 😼

Ireland Launches World's First Permanent Basic Income Scheme For Artists, Paying $385 a Week - Slashdot

Ireland has announced what it says is the world's first permanent basic income program for artists, a scheme that will pay 2,000 selected artists $385 per week for three years, funded by an $21.66 million allocation from Budget 2026. The program follows a 2022 pilot -- the Irish government's first l...

Not a "this should scare you" but more of a "we need to reject this" in that MSFT and other large corporations that deal in mass DMCA takedowns and IP infringement are relying on a 3rd party with bad automation tools to identify and issue the takedowns. This is the slippery slope in action that results in games, art, videos, and even things that have nothing to do with the source IPs, being temp or even permanently removed from the web.

My hands needed a break from drawing and clicking... So I did some typing!

Currently just a quick summary of my experience playing Atelier Rorona, but I've got a couple Tamagotchi posts in the works <3

What are your thoughts on these two character designs?

For Ideal Essie does she approximate the idea of:
"an avatar you make in a video game"

Please let me know your thoughts. I genuinely need your input as a developer.

Happy Holidays!
I hope all masto gamedev people are having a great day/night and their 2026 new year is everything they hoped!
