I'm pretty sure we're sitting around 90% Ikea stuff with the exceptions being 1 desk, 2 office chairs and a couch.
@mr_daemon @GossiTheDog Same. The catch is all the combination of situations they don't work for.
@GossiTheDog I legit can't wait for release. I still need to pick up some decent foot pedals, but my Honeycomb yoke/throttle are ready.
@ajsta I think someone physically needs to be present to boot into safe mode. Logging in should be possible if they can boot with Safe Mode + Networking. Otherwise hopefully they have LAPS or something similar to access a local admin account.
The thing that really annoys me about the Microsoft Recall discourse is that I can see it as a really useful feature in some limited situations.
There are a number of times where if something like it had been available on her Mac it would have made helping my mom a lot easier. Mermory loss sucks is what I'm saying.
It's also why I hate the trend of constantly updating UI to keep it "fresh" or "modern".
@paul Wasn't the prompt for fitness and motion a bug in 17.5 beta that they never bothered to fix?

@GossiTheDog As someone currently working on Intune policies thanks for pointing this out. Just added it to our default config to disable it.
@postmodern @paul in fact if they announced the shutdown as long as others setup alternate PDS servers and allowed others to migrate their accounts it would be like nothing happened with the exception of the loss of any BluSky created feeds.
