@aras @joeldevahl @xoofx Couldn't agree more. I am not surprised that this is how its going though, as this is exactly how people were saying it would go when they hired an 60 year old EA exec to be their new CEO. Out with the young and loved and in with the old bullies.
@froyok What kind of platforms will you be supporting? Please say Webgl / Webgpu ;)
@CapnRat Quick question, does the Decima Engine support c# by any chance? As in, is any of the tooling written in C# I am guessing no and that its all cpp? Only information I could find on it was basically the job listing https://www.guerrilla-games.com/join/senior-tools-programmer/4426684002
We create awe-inspiring worlds - Guerrilla

Guerrilla is one of Europe's leading game companies and a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sony Interactive Entertainment Europe. We started in 2003, and have pushed the boundaries of technical and artistic excellence in our games ever since.

@xoofx @aras Sorry to hijack the thread here, but do any of these fine gentlemen have a mastodon account I could follow?
@aras Haha I've come to learn that any company where the higher ups needs to say that they "care about the employees" you need to start brushing up your CV and apply somewhere else. If you have to say it out loud you're not doing it right imo.

@glaskows You need to show them successful games made with Godot on the platform.
But I think this is a chicken and egg situation, right now, because there aren't any to my knowledge.

You also have to think about the ecosystem around your game. One thing is the engine, but there's also loads of other things to take into account. Ad / Analytics / IAP / Remote config plugins etc.
