Couldn't find a decent Pomodoro timer app with no ads or logins. Tried hacking the MacOS shortcuts together for one but settled on this. Meet `Potato`

A stupid solution to a stupid problem. Do I pay $500 to have the whole light replace… or do I just drill a small hole in the bottom of the light…? https://youtube.com/shorts/Omw1HvCmMvc?feature=share

I understand the argument during the pandemic that "there's no inventory, so the only way we can make money is via markups". But lots aren't empty anymore??? If you want to charge MSRP for in-demand cars, fine-- over MSRP for *EVERY* in-demand car? GTFO.
Many a YouTuber are claiming that there's going to be a crash in the car market, and I can't wait for it to come. Because we need a new car, I want something that's cost effective, somewhat nice and somewhat efficient since we're going to live with it for 10 years. Dealerships price gouging and making this harder than it should be deserve what's coming. Chip shortages are over, stop with the mark-ups, don't put consumers so far ahead of their depreciation that they can't catch up.
Or, you can spend an untold amount of time carpet bombing dealership within a 200 mile radius to find one that's willing to do a straight deal. In the SF Bay Area though it feels like there enough people with more money than sense (and/or just don't have the time) that it keeps bad behavior around price gouging with markups going longer than it should.
