God, people get so enraged when you try to politely tell them “I would have reposted that but it didn’t have alt text”. So I won’t tell this guy; he’ll never see this. But I didn’t. And it’s a shame because otherwise it was a banger of a post.
I’m posting this instead to still promote the general idea that alt text is rad and makes everything better. We’ll keep building good culture here anyways.

2/ Meanwhile, renewables met 100% of global demand growth for electricity last year. The rest of the world is racing ahead on clean energy, building the economy of the future. The Liberal government is taking us backwards, locking us into more pipelines, more fossil fuel dependence, and more handouts for some of the richest corporations on earth.
An industry expected to make $90 billion in profits this year alone does not need more gifts from the public.
