#genealogica2024 is a fair on genealogy topics in German in the web (all online). It is open this weekend and next week. One of the beloved features of the past Genealogica fairs was a padlet to put the places of your ancestors down. I linked the ones I entered with the #WikiTree profiles of my ancestors... there will be also two WikiTree sessions (thank you @Flominator !) and this may be draws some extra attention to our beloved #WikiTree 😉

Preparing for #WikiTree #January2024ConnectAThon I find myself organizing on tools Wikitree has for you to track work. First everybody has his Navigation Page where you can put links and notes on the scratch pad. Second you can use your individual To-Do-List, it is a Free-Space-Page. Third you can create own categories to track your work. Last feature I started to get more familar with and really like it…indeed you can always work offline, on your computer or on paper or the new WTBee features

so last post in this series…in #WikiTree some focus was on my 5th great grand mother https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Reeman-8 Catharina Reeman still no birth or death record found still searching in the online records thanks to #Matricula …tried to capture the #Cat Freya with the #XmasTree she was not found of that…long sessions with the family…played a bit with the wood blocks in the garden…wish you all a Good Start into 2024

#xmas Cookies (51/52/2023) baking almost stopped all my #WikiTree and #Genealogie activities…was searching for birth/death of Johann Frevel https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Frebel-10 no sucess yet…found the burial of his widow https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Heid-580 the area her baptism is expected the church books are not online yet 😭 …lost my last paper based ID…had to exchange my old paper driving license for an plastic card…no new news from #Cat Freya trying to sleep through winter time

Chrismas Market (50/52/2023)
first snow melted away and #Xmas is ahead…last weekend the traditional Xmas market was in my hometown, small one and due to rain not as frequented as usually…still beautiful enlighten city center…some more Xmas cookies made…ran into some nowadays "seldom" names for Germany Rhaban, Pulcheria and Damian when working more on the Hessian relatives of one of the 3rd great grand fathers Philipp Frevel aka Frebel in #WikiTree https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Frevel-6

First some and then plenty of snow covering last roses in the garden and stopping any garden work…cinnamon waffles as a start for Xmas cookies…worked on my Scheibelhut ancestors https://www.wikitree.com/index.php?title=Scheibelhut-93 and https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Scheibelhut-92 …found some more children and the need to correct the LNAB to Scheubelhuth …wondering if the priest did really hear an "eu" instead of an "ei" or if the dialect in that area is that confusing.
