Let me share one of the pictures from todays #physics data analyis work.
It is a Dalitz plot visualizing the fractions of the signals in three photodiodes registering scintillation light excited by #cosmicrays #muons in a big Bismuth-Germanium-Oxide #BGO crystal. The colors represent different data selection criteria.
@CausticHarmony The first computers were a CBM PET2001 and a CBM3032, in school. I wrote my first thesis on a selfmade early version of the NDR-Klein Computer, Z80, CP/M2.2, Wordstar. Eventually I got a 486DX33 laptop, 8MB RAM, 200MB disk, slackware, to write the second thesis, LaTeX.
My current favorite is an ATtiny13a
