My mate Clint has to be really careful with the kerning when he’s asked to print his name in all caps.
"The hardest career move is leaving a good one that's slowly making you invisible to yourself."
I can completely relate to this situation at times, feeling guilty for lacking motivation in a privileged role.

This is cool…
Descript - my AV editor of choice - now has an API and MCP in beta mode to play around with.
I love the idea of using simple prompts to get the basics together in a project with a first pass of the edit using their existing Underlord features.

What happens when the regulars of your favourite podcast move on?
The show keeps going but people leave or change direction, something I’ve noticed on DTNS, one of my constant sources.

Don’t become an Engineering Manager.
Its quite a sensational headline with interesting observations but personally, I think it’s a tricky route to weigh up at the moment and always comes back with the classic engineering answer of “it depends”.

I love how Traxsource have published their stance on AI in music

For me, it's a great toy to play with that can be enjoyed. I do feel a bit uncomfortable people making a living / income out of it when there's very little human involvement though, but tech has always been an enabler for electronic music ever since we could mess with transistors, so we should definitely explore creative ways to use it.
