As the sun ages it loses mass. This will cause the planets to move slightly further away. A year on Earth will one day be a little longer.

Absurd hypocrisy.
Moreover, gun safety measures also save the lives of law enforcement. If you care about ensuring police officers get home safer, as I do, then you’d want to ensure weapons of war are not on the streets.
