Long time no post, so eventually I switched to Debian 12 KDE. A solid base.
Today I managed to get screen sharing to work on Discord through Vesktop, all I needed to do was to get pipewire from the backports repo.
And with that I've ticked all boxes, all my needs are met on Linux.
To sum up this month:
- New GPU installed (AMD XTX 7900 26GB Sapphire)
- Screen Sharing on Discord (and OBS) works
The dream system, now I'm pondering if I should make a little video about how I've set it up.
Windows is holding computers back. Adobe is only innovating their extortion methods.
Big corpo is not your friend.

If you ever wanna try Linux, please use Linux Mint. Don't let some Internet elitist tell you it's for noobs. An OS needs to be beginner friendly, easy to use. It shouldn't be a chore.
So anyway, I'm running Linux Mint on everything now. Why? It just works.
I love it when Selinux goes apeshit after upgrading Fedora KDE 39 to Fedora KDE 40. 😢
