@thepoliticalcat I know that feeling all too well buddy. I am an Indian living in Singapore for past 13 years. Hope is always home, you can't replace it with a great lifestyle. But we all work hard to make life a bit better and easier for our next generations to come. To push forward is life. All the best to you in your endeavours 🙏🙏
@thepoliticalcat that'll be great. Hope you're having a good time in the States. I'll send you golf course pics next time I go that side 😊😊
@thepoliticalcat I live around Loyang area and go to Changi village for my weekend runs. You're most welcome to join in for a coffee or beer if you're around this area. 🙏🙏
@thepoliticalcat I agree... This is Changi. Halton Road area, very close to old Changi General Hospital. People don't visit this area much as there are loads of stories of this place being super haunted. This pic in particular is behind Changi Golf Course, Upavan Road.
@thepoliticalcat I love to take B&W pics. I take your point that these are old homes but today we live in flats. But to appreciate life these things are just means not the end. If we bring back the contend in our lives, we can live happily even today 🙏🙏🤷🏻
@thepoliticalcat hahaha these pics are taken just 15 mins back... Filter made into B&W... Here is the current colored version. Thanks for highlighting my point. This current time my friend is the best time of our lives. We just live with the bias that past was glorious and today is all messed up 🙏🙏🙏
How many years are you left with? What will make you realise that this is the best life you're ever going to get. #singapore in its glory 😍😍
Mastodon Has Officially Retired the 'Toot,' Its Version of the Tweet

Not everyone is pleased with the decision to change "toot" to "publish," but many third-party apps are continuing to use the original term for posts anyway.

@taylorlorenz difference between a family owned business and a public listed company business. Many should realise how it feels to work in a private family owned firm and learn to adapt. 🤷🏻

@rbreich sorry to say, but 12 months back when there was a great resignation wave going on, people were asking insane amounts of salary hikes to do the same work they were doing and everyone was crying foul of toxic corporate culture and then came the quite quitting, all that impacted the productivity levels of a lot of companies.

Where was the call of Unionise when people were asking insane amounts of salaries 🤷🏻🤷🏻 It goes both ways sir.
