A very cool new R package for communicating map distortion!
I'm coming to the realization that streaming subscriptions like Netflix, Disney+, Apple TV, etc. are like gym subscriptions.
They want to be just interesting enough to have you register/pay while consuming as little as possible. I though before that it was about consuming low-cost content... but I think they don't make good content on their platforms easily findable part of the experience on purpose. It's their way of throttling.
Some thoughts on #booklending.
