Pushing back on the "I don;t pay attention to the colour of my models, it's just about the art for me. I don't have the spoons to care about the rest of it"

Took the approach of "That's fair, but it's important to me to push back against white supremacy even in art and the other media I surround myself with." Basically pointing out it's important to me, not being aggressive with them.

It's landing well!

@georgetakei ugh as much as I can't stand Trump these people are definitely worse... when they say "demonically possessed" it's obvious there's certain very specific people they'll blame for that possession. Which is just wilful ignorance... the Israeli lobby in the US would never be able to bend US policy like thus without massive evangelical support.

Good news for our trans friends:

The European Court of Justice on Thursday ruled that European Union nations must provide transgender citizens with identification documents reflecting their "lived gender" rather than their gender at birth.

To translate this for non-EU people, it's the equivalent of the US supreme court (the ECJ here) ruling that states (the EU Member States here) must respect people's gender choices.
