#JimHall: The Early Albums Collection (2023). I can honestly recommend it. It is a solid collection.
I am well aware of the whiteness wars in #Jazz. I had a professor who tried a little too hard to indoctrinate students about white influence and participation in jazz throughout its many phases, completely missing the (many) point(s). I countered his arguments in more than one paper.
However, this collection is awesome. Hall was an admirable musician from what I have read about him. @jazz

I have everything(!) he has ever recorded. He just released a Golden Hits of the 60s record. It looks just like those collections from the 60s and 70s.
