Unless it's my OWN business, I won't go above and beyond. I only do what it is written in the contract and clock out to enjoy my life. There is more to life than being a wage slave.

That nowadays going above and beyond only got you more and more work. Companies don't give a rat pajamas about your time and energy. They only see you as a replaceable cog. They would pay you less or even 0 if it wasn't illegal.
