Continually baffled that “Give me liberty or give me death” is more famous than this:
Reading “Goodnight Moon,” I suddenly remembered that as a kid I found the “quiet old lady whispering ‘hush’” terrifying. Like I thought she was a ghost haunting this kid’s bedroom and not just their grandmother or whatever.
Still can’t get over having two abecedaries for my toddler that both use Y is for Yacht. This does not feel like a top-priority word.
