@Danc I was thinking about this earlier today. Weโ€™re on a game development mastodon instance. I typically only follow game developers. So then why follow anyone on mastodon at all, when I can just participate in the local timeline instead? Sure, I pick out and follow my favourite people, mostly old names and faces I recognise from early twitter and even irc before that. But the local timeline is always the most lively and bound to be the most interesting purely because *everyone* is there.
@jessechounard Thanks mate, you've pushed me over the edge there, I'll try Magnet now
@jessechounard Forklift, if you donโ€™t like finder. Raycast as a better spotlight. ColorSlurp if you want a colour picker available everywhere. Duet to use a tablet or different computer as an extra monitor. Moom for better window management, although Iโ€™ve heard Magnet is good; I havenโ€™t used Magnet. ๐Ÿ˜
@Danc Iโ€™m neither of those people, I canโ€™t remember the last time Iโ€™ve written something that had a heading. ๐Ÿ˜
@CrazyRetroGames this is the story of my life
@Goodgis welcome, I watch your youtube videos, good stuff!
@obsoke $AUD here, waiting to see the $2k consumer cards
And this is what that #godotengine game looks like today. One week later. What? Everything is fine. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e3As6VIdXAU

Ok, so here is that fireside video one more time. I'm figuring out what mastodon can embed. https://youtu.be/G2fDvbFHvms
