A creative trying to explore that space.

I hack stuff, too, in exchange for money.

A ginger.

Hopeless romantic.

I'll make you laugh.

Into jam bands (primarily #GratefulDead and #Phish) and my guitar lately.

Also guided meditation and introspection thread pulling.

I'm likely writing creative words on a page, too.

I used to play guitar in my teens and early 20s. Now in my 40s and picking one up again. I have a PRS Hollowbody II Piezo SE guitar.

@Phreba @Jfrites @Backeasyjim @ShakedownSax After about 5 minutes I just skipped through it, made it much farther than I did. Though there’s also part of me that just doesn’t care about the personal lives of the artists, too, which may contribute to it lacking interest

It doesn’t tell a story ultimately, which is the problem for me. It’s boring. Just real & manufactured random/casual shots. Meh.

@Jfrites Oh cool, didn’t know that was a thing! I love ricks guitar playing when he’s going off

@plasma4045 there's different levels of privacy. What you say in your house is private, but if I have equipment, I can still listen in. None of our speech is encrypted E2E.

I think you're missing the fundamental point. People likely smarter than both of us understand this concept. Let's not assume they don't.

Looking forward to #Phish MSG shows!

What’s odd about #Goose is now that their tour isn't in my face all the time I literally don't even think about them anymore. I enjoy their music, but perhaps I burnt myself out on it? I did watch the CO shows like 25 times each. If it was a VHS tape, there'd be tracking issues.

Back on the #GratefulDead train again (it's been a staple my entire life). Still exploring earlier #Phish concerts, too.

I just found out about Phish and Goose in June. Learned a lot since!

@plasma4045 @tess “They” already know that

@tess @mrcompletely I'm here for those reasons, but also for niche communities, too.

I’m done with shitposting endless scrolling dopamine loopsinto my brain with each swipe.

Not being combative though, what I love about Mastodon is that there's a place for everyone to get what they want out of it, vs. what's forced down our throats.

Don't like it here, try over there. Not into Y, well there are folks into Z. If unsure, follow hashtags and searches to find content in your feed.

Options FTW!

@Backeasyjim Ben's good but finding a suitable drummer shouldn't be that difficult. Rick's the star, perhaps with Peter and Trevor as costars, but Jeff and Ben in the back are supporting characters, IMO.

I don't think a drummer change will change much, if it did happen.

@Jfrites @Backeasyjim @ShakedownSax I just hope they have the staying power and don't fizzle out. They've "made it", now what. Always a tumultuous time for bands.

@Backeasyjim @Jfrites @ShakedownSax indeed, I get what they're going for but it's a little bit too much behind the scenes. Unsure who digs these things but they do post a lot of behind the scenes things.

Suppose it is nice they're doing that and trying to give as much content as possible, maybe things they'd like to see their favorite bands do. Curious if the Phish and Trey movies inspired them.
