@ferricoxide i mean, I don’t have an issue with exchanging labor for salary, so no, I don’t in general find professional athletics any more exploitative than say professional accountancy. The labor involved in football can’t be done safely, which is the issue.

@ferricoxide I don’t agree with that. in football contact isn’t incidental, it’s the point. In most other sports it happens, but it isn’t a requirement of the sport.
