Hi friends, This weekend for Jami Attenberg’s #mini1000 I set aside both mornings to work on my shiny new novel, which I’ve had to abandon for the last few months to take care of deadlines. Because the words have felt bottled up for so long, I was really looking forward to letting them fly, imagining at least a couple of hours of uninterrupted writing time. But of course, reality set in immediately.

Typing up pages from my notebook and editing as I go. I love this push from the #mini1000!

I’m thrilled to see ENDPAPERS on Buzzfeed’s 24 Most Anticipated LGBTQ+ Books of 2023!! What an incredible list of titles 🏳️‍🌈✨

How do you find people on this site? When I search by name, even for people whom I follow or who follow me, nothing comes up.
Tomorrow begins Jami Attenberg's #mini1000. What are you working on, #WritingCommunity? I think I'll take a break from deadlines to work on something fun for a week.

29 December 1923 | Hungarian Jewish woman Lily Ebert was born in Bonyhád.

In July 1944 she was deported to Auschwitz. She was then transferred to an ammunition factory near Leipzig where she was liberated.

Today she turns 99.
