Going from an iPhone 12 Mini to an iPhone 16 and it’s the first time I’ve ever been sad and resentful to get a new phone.
I hate that it’s too big to use with one hand. I hate that when I put it down, the camera bump makes it rock. It’s two hands or nothing, I guess?
I just want another 12 Mini.

Successfully fighting for civil rights requires multiple parallel strategies, *and those "lanes" can't overlap*. Someone who's protecting people, for instance, needs to be squeaky clean, legally, so the baddies don't have a pretext to come after them and the people they're protecting--which means they can't be showing up to disruptive protests in person.

Jill MinorI am resisting in place. I won’t march, and I already hold public office, it’s called Public Librarian. I make queer and trans people feel at home and change their name in the catalog and if my coworkers change it back, I change it again. I make rainbow brochures and when they get stolen and trashed I make more. I put book challenge info on the website. I’m safe zone trained and in the trenches.
