Finished Lakshmi Saravanakumar's Rooh last night. Lakshmi is a master story teller. Verbose to the right amount, this was a delightful reading experience. The only slight negative is that the story begins on a big macro canvass setting high expectations in the first half but slowly takes a shift into something more delicate and intimate (beautiful in its own way though). Ultimately it's a very good novel but ends up with the feeling that it could have been great.

YouTubeHappy piranthanaal to thalaivar Deva. Most underrated king of Tamil film music.
Done with 'Uthaa Skirt kathaigal'. For some reason I expected it to be a light, fairy-tale like short stories but ended up being much more heavier. At least 3 stories were truly international (for lack of better words).
6174 was fresh and entertaining. Reminded me of Sujatha at various parts. Was happy to finally find a good 'light' read in Tamil.
Weekend was a massive success. 1 season of Midnight Diner, 1 massively entertaining 450 pages tamil sci-fi and 0 minutes of laptop usage. YAY!
Looks like this weekend's binge content is gonna be 'Midnight Diners'. Just saw 1 episode but really loved it. How did I manage to miss this for so long!!
