#books I just finished #Patriot by #AlexeiNavalny and it was brilliant! I was left in profound sadness at the state of Russia and the world, and at the loss of someone who seemed like he would have been fun to know on a personal level as well as being politically just amazing in terms of his ability to bring people together. Such a clearly creative and driven guy!

Good morning! So far here, I've seen posts about the pretentiousness of Sunchips, the placebo effect of having a running air purifyer in the house even if the filter is still wrapped in its packaging, and various tales about people's lives. It has been very entertaining!

Heading home from church now. The Sunday School kids put on a very cute play about St. Nicholas becoming a Bishop called--wait for it!--St. Nicholas Becomes a Bishop. It was quite fun but the best part was the enthusiastic clapping of the adults afterward. Very nice indeed! Every time I go to this new church, I feel more and more a part of the community.
