Planning my travel for the #cardiff #10k this weekend, when 6000 runners will decend on #cardiffbay with major road closures.

Of course, all train routes to Cardiff Bay cancelled that day, with many people likely not wanting to opt for the active travel option having just run such a race and families coming to watch. Bus travel very limited to get to registration in time. Car it is.

I don’t know who needs to see this in #cardiff #centralsquare but someone does. Saw the bus station yesterday with even more fencing taken down, revealing a sea of concrete and a small singular SuDS.

Much of my week has been spent reading the government #netzero review. Some radical suggestions in report:

-House sales must be EPC C or higher from 2033.
-All new commercial buildings EPC B by 2 years time.
-Massive scale up of #infrastructure - we’re miles behind our European neighbours in solar regs and expansion.

Absolutely incredible. Interlaken in #Switzerland was always one of my favourite places to visit growing up.

They’ve taken household #christmastree recycling to the next level, creating a ‘Winter Labyrinth and Maze’ to maximise the lifespan of these trees. Yes please UK.

Without pretending to be a #nuclearfusion expert, I am an eco nerd. This looks to be a landmark moment in #energy supply, #sustainability and #security. The physics exist. The real challenge however will be the scale up, application and economics - not to mention the expertise required to deliver it. An exciting day for science and innovation.
