Twitter used to be lots of fun *and* professionally useful for me, but I’ve been feeling extremely burnt out on it for the last ~year. Mastodon let me indulge my social media addiction in a safe environment of isolation; I could just post endless bread pix without the risk of anyone actually seeing them.

I’m glad it’s gotten so bustling around here!! But I’m going to try maintaining the feeling of freedom to do low-quality toots. Go right ahead and ignore me over here.
