Hey all 👋 trying to post a little more on here

Recently been helping @jordibruin with a new onboarding flow for MacWhisper 🎙️

Here’s a preview - it’s live now in the Mac App Store

@stepheng thanks! Glad you think the green is non-annoying haha. Was definitely going for a fun, vibrant feel - will probably keep tweaking the colors so it’s a little more natural looking.
Little map thing I designed for a side project I started 👀

I was woken up today by a phone call letting me know that due purely to budgeting changes I’ve been let go from my full-time contracting position I just started in January after being laid off in September.

I am a former #Apple #engineer with 15 years of experience making apps for #iOS and #macOS. I also have experience with #Ruby. Available immediately for full time or contract work.

Please boost. #Swift #RubyOnRails

Anyone have experience doing (many) uploads with a background URLSession? I've found a lot of general info in posts online, but not so many real-world examples. Any tips/pointers to resources would be appreciated :)

Welp, I got hit by yesterday's layoffs at Gusto. This was a bummer, because the app my wee team was working on was really starting to come together, and the people there are all super nice.

However, I'm gonna be fine in the end. If you are hiring for Staff-level iOS, hit me up, especially for things involving GraphQL and SwiftUI. Remote only, but I'm available immediately.

@hboon Hi there!
