My fedi gaming people! Quick question for y'all:

I interact with a lot of game devs and artists around here, but never had the chance to do the same with commercial oriented people.

Do you know anyone around here? Are you one of them?

You know, the people behind the "boring" part of games that no one sees: Business Developers, Account Managers, Sales, Commercial, or similar around here?

A new gouache painting, part of my "cottagecore" series. For this, I used the Zorn palette, one of the most restrictive palettes around. Except the b&w paints, the only other Holbein colors used were yellow ochre, and Chinese orange (Vermillion). The palette creates a very specific, vintage-y vibe which I love.

You're an exterminator. You kill things for a living. When a hostile invasion of alien cockroaches rocks your city, you've got a job to do. A high-octane retro-FPS inspired by some of the best games of the 90s.

Milestones

In my consultancy I've received quite a few questions about how to set up your milestones for an optimal development cycle. Very frequently, these questions come from young producers, or producers moving into the games space from other industries - who are often taken aback by how different creative production

Levelling The Playing Field

People ask, "What can other Fediverse apps do that Mastodon can not?"

A lot!

Here's an example. Let's look at some features of Pixelfed as shown in screenshots:

1. Photo filters
2. Aspect ratio cropping
3. Options to select your creative license
4. Geo-location tagging

I'd show you more but Mastodon only lets me upload 4 photos to a post while Pixelfed allows for more 😉
