Good to be back at the #ABPHM23 . Nerds from Amsterdam-UMC and Amsterdam GGD are on the ground. Great presentations and stimulating discussions all day long!

Here is the weekly update of circulating respiratory viruses at the Amsterdam-UMC. The total number of tests is clearly going up (+17% compared to last week). Rhinovirus and SARS-CoV-2 continue their slow decrease, but are still the 2 viruses with the highest positivity rate. RSV marks a clear increase, to 7% positivity rate, and the relatively high numbers of hMPV infections continues (8%). Influenza A remains low (< 1%).

(Numbers are uncorrected positivity rates).

Positivity rates for qPCR tests for respiratory viruses at the Amsterdam-UMC since the beginning of October 2022 (visualised in proportions of positive tests). At the moment the 2 viruses circulating at a significant level are SARS-CoV-2 and rhinovirus. I will keep updating this over the winter.
