Heya! I'm an author who makes long winded videos on YouTube about games and stories I hyperfixate on. I also have written over a dozen books which you can find over on Amazon and a few of them on Audible! Links are below:

@Bec Now if only I could let my computer rest and make the 4 hour render time any shorter
@Stealth40k definitely strange times all around. At least there are some forms of backup for communication for people, but definitely strange all around
@markov_shiina @esdin kinda like me consolidating my YouTube content after splitting off my pokemon side channel. "All things serve the beam" and all that, everything returns to a single stream eventually or some other pretentious saying about it
@markov_shiina understandable. Might be less overall stress to consolidate
@Akit This looks really good! I love Metroid--it was always so much different compared to what was out there. Lot of really good designs here
I've been working some more on that #fireemblem video and...am continually both in fear and deep maniacal laughter at how large this script is growing. I've got the start of a spreadsheet going to make it somewhat manageable to go piece-by-piece, but considering I'm only just done talking about the first chapter and I have 20 pages...hoo boy.
@Bec I'll share it when it's done! It's probably going to take quite some time as I'm looking to replay each of the three games to get my most up to date feelings on 'em!
@Bec Haha, it's definitely no strange form for me, I've got many long-hour video essays about games over on my youtube channel, but they're usually all talking about stories I unequivocally love, so this is definitely something new to talk about something that brings out a lot of negative reception from me as I generally try to stay positive and talk about the things I like, but boy oh boy does this game inspire a lot of thoughts about it.
I've been holding in me a script for a #videoessay that comprehensively talks about my history with the #FireEmblem series, the game development history of #FireEmblemFates, and why I in particular have such burning passion for my disdain for the game while being as fair and praising to its high points as possible. I've been meaning to write this script for the past seven years, and I just cranked out thirteen pages that isn't even close to the end of it...but I'm still excited to build up to this.
