w’ll miss you

PRAYER ֶָ֢⊹𐙚
Father God, I pray that you will guide me through this fast. I know God that I can’t do anything on my own, I pray that you give me strength to endure the temptations and influences that can hinder my walk with you. Father God, I will lift you above all else in my life, be the center of my heart, and lead me into your will. Father, I come to you with a humble heart today and may your will shall be fulfilled. Amen.

This helped me understand why we need to fast, that we have to surrender ourselves to God fully and completely, we rely on God because God knows what we need. Fasting doesn’t mean you only fast from foods, it can be from social media or anything that distracts you from getting closer to God. By surrendering yourself, you allow the Holy Spirit to work in you, to lead you to God.

And when Jesus was talking to the woman who was at the well. Jesus tells us that whoever drinks the water He gave shall never be thirsty again (John 4:14) and be blessed with everlasting life.
