One of the entrances to the 95th Street station on the R line in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. This is about 1990 and I don't know there's even any station access this way anymore. The liquor store is long gone along with its neon.
Ah yes...#FensterFreitag...so here's a photo out another 3rd floor window of the Woodruff Building in Watertown NY. The big building on the right is the Woolworth Building (FW Woolworth was a local.) To the left is the Paddock Arcade, a mid-19th century indoor shopping mall, one of the very oldest in the US. Current temp is -4F...shopping indoors makes some sense.
