NetNewsWire for #macOS and #iOS is the least open-source-feeling open-source app I’ve used. The polish and stability it has feel absolutely premium, and honestly, it’s more polished than a lot of paid apps. iCloud sync has never let me down. If you want an RSS reader, I can’t recommend it more. https://netnewswire.com

A week of rain this time of year is what you should be getting in Davis. My dad was transferred from Travis to south Jersey between my junior and senior years of high school. A classmate in Jersey asked me what Christmas meant, and I answered “green grass on the hills” and they thought I was kidding.

I noticed people already have holiday lights out along the mixed use trail I use for my commute. Which leads to all sorts of questions:
1. Anyone have a mixed use trail near them that is just full of lights? (With pictures!)
2. When should you turn on your holiday lights? When do you turn them off?
3. How common is it for people to put lights on the trail-side of their house?

A6. I cycled for transportation in college and grad school. Then stopped for various reasons. Got back to cycling for commuting when my daughter needed a car to commute to her work. Cheaper to get a bike and equipment for me to ride to my work and I’ve managed to stay with it through job and work changes.
