Via @neilhimself on Bluesky, an interesting post from @ronbrinkmann about the potential for comics in the Vision Pro.
I’ve been thinking a good bit about the potential for this, a more dynamic reading experience, like Comixology’s guided view (RIP) but not constrained to the limits of a window.
Separate layers in 3D are a gimmick, granted, but still add a ton. Imagine speech bubbles or SFX set off the page (like in Marvel Snap).

@erictopol have they not published any results in the Paxlovid-for-children trial that Pfizer initiated in March 2022? I can’t find anything…
Before I ever played Half-Life: Alyx - the most transformative #VR gaming experience I've had to date - I got to explore a street scene from the game that they released standalone. No game play here - just exploring the detailed environment on foot with ambient audio. Sold me on the game right there.
I've since wished studios would release environments from their games for VR in this same manner. There are countless #TLOU and #Uncharted 4 environments I'd love to just walk around in and absorb.
