I wish there was a wishlist feature in the #Apple #appstore . I will see apps like Streaks that I am interested in buying but no way of keeping track of them except through a Reminders list of as a text list in the Notes app.

Moziila didn’t have the resources to keep a "subscribe to RSS" button in Firefox but has the manpower to build a full AI inside your browser.

2025 will go down as the year my travel wings got clipped; it will also as the year I rediscovered software engineering and finally found true, obsessive love for it.
If I were ever to give up on MacBook Pros as my goto laptop, I would probably get something like an XPS or a Razer. I would keep Windows for the power efficiency but set up a Linux VM as a daily driver.
Do you ever get a great idea for an app, program, system, whatever where your brain is absolutely on fire seamlessly laying everything out… but when you set out to write it down it all but disappears?

There is a new setting for server operators in #Mastodon 4.4, under Administration -> Server Settings -> Discovery, called "Allow external sites to see your Mastodon server as a traffic source". If you're running a server for a larger group of people there is no privacy downside to enabling this, and it will help make the fediverse more visible as a traffic source to the rest of the web.
