The only reason I can think of is my response to a post from MM in the hosting channel, where I asked him not to use cancer for describing a competitor or because I said that that I understood that WP Engine removed the News widget because MM's posts should not be there in the first place. I've sent an email to the Slack admins 6 hours ago, but I'm still waiting for a response. #WordPress #WPDrama #freedom

@logoninternet 2 thoughts: a) it was never a great word because Doctorow is good at coming up with useful concepts that he immediately sabotages through his tin ear for language, B) sure is funny how terms that meaningfully label The Horrors of Now are almost instantly worn out through determined and focused misuse

we're two generations deep into a cultural shift towards primarily online society, yet it's somehow less stable now than it was in 2008! every time we get a healthy network going, some 30-under-30 ivy league failson buys the house sight unseen and burns it down for the insurance.

it's crazy! no one wants this! we're all fucking miserable! and our leaders are just letting it happen, because i guess the only thing a government exists to do is means test the poor and blow up foreign nations

Calling all nerds. I'm very much out of the PC specs adventure but I'd like to play Fallout 4 again, maybe even the next-gen graphics update version. Would this do the job? (mini pc reasons: I have no space for a tower, these seem relatively inexpensive, not obscene power consumption, not a huge fan of handhelds)
