I found this interesting set of survey results which seems to overwhelmingly have Rust as the favorite language of
#WebAssembly. Not sure how authoritative it is though.

Scott LogicHere is the side by side if that is not apparent! I guess it is for markdown-like features not officially supported. I think other implementations of this would not change it when the markdown doesn't make sense, like with an empty string.
