It's weird that at 38 years of age this is the first time I've made a dough ball from scratch by hand.
I've decided that every Friday I'm going to try and cook something I've never cooked before. Mainly to improve my cooking but also to try different foods. Last week I did Gordon Ramsey's Mac and cheese. It came out really well.

This week Tuna Steaks with a romesco sauce and Dauphinoise potatoes/carrots as a side.
Fantastic day visiting Moonwalkers at the lightroom in London. Second time doing it and it was just as amazing as the first time.
They're wrapping it up now ready for the next showing of dinosaurs, may have to do that one too especially with the little one!
A fantastic day of talks at #MQSummit (including my own 😉) now watching the closing key Note by David Ware of #ibmmq on "The power of queues".
Amazing keynote at #MQSummit by Sam Newman on the meaning of Asynchronous communication and how it differs to everyone.
And we're off! The first #MQSummit conference is live!

In a weeks time i will be presenting at #MQSummit in Berlin on Messaging Security! If you're interested in a solid day of talks on Messaging products such as #ibmmq , #RabbitMQ , #AmazonSQS and #Kafka as well as oppurtunities to meet experts in the messaging space there are still tickets available at https://mqsummit.com/

Looking forward to seeing you there!

Just finished building my bat detector i bought at #emfcamp . Looking forward to testing it out later to see if it can hear the bats in my garden.
It was also the first small project where i feel i've got the hang of soldering properly. It's not all amazing, but there isn't 1 solder point that looks crap. :D
Had a look over my haul of tech I grabbed from #emfcamp . Definitely looking forward to building the bat detector as we quite often get bats in the garden and I need the solder practice!
Also need to finish the plan I had for the Hexbadge.
The cat is a present for my wife for a similar soldering practice reason.

And that’s a wrap for me at #emfcamp I finished off the festival doing a blacksmith taster. Throughly enjoyed it and walked away with this abstract swan I made.

The instructor made the mistake of telling me that making a forge for blacksmithing can be done very cheap and as a hobby it is also cheap… must resist urge to build a forge in the back garden.
