Another major milestone for #IBMMQ as version 10 just announced! This new LTS release contains all of the fantastic features delivered into the 9.4 CD cycle by the IBM MQ team and more!

A particular favourite feature of mine is the announcement of support for Quantum Safe TLS for Linux, AIX and Windows. This feature adds support for Hybrid ML-KEM key exchange mechanisms.

A while back i posted about changes coming up to how public Certificate Authorities like DigiCert and Let's Encrypt issue certificates. This change, affecting the ExtendedKeyUsage extension was driven by Google updating their Chrome Root policy.

The original deadline for this change was May of this year, however, Google have just pushed that back to March 2027.
