@daringfireball I don't know about Walmart, but the "Scan & Go" feature of the Sam's Club app is amazing and so incredible. Scan & Go at Sam's Club is the only payment feature anywhere that I've ever experienced that is better than getting to use Apple Pay.

@nicolas17 @daringfireball I thought the new 17s did with the square image sensor so it can do portrait or landscape whichever is appropriate no matter how you hold the phone. Or is that photos only and not video? I would think the same sensor is used for photos & video and has similar or same capabilities.

@daringfireball in fairness to the tweeter, he did tweet that was "what he was hearing" that Apple was out of MLB, it was fairly widely speculated. Media reporters aren't used to a media company that doesn't leak info about their coming deals, and not hearing anything from Apple it's traditional speculation that they are out.
