Okay, I uploaded the Artemis II stream to Internet Archive: https://archive.org/details/nasa-artemis-ii-primarystream

Will probably take hours for IA to process the file. And if a hundred people try to download from IA and it gets slow, well... that's why I posted a torrent :P

Nasa Artemis II Live Mission Coverage : Free Download, Borrow, and Streaming : Internet Archive

Internet Archive
Based on the number of likes/reposts vs number of actual downloads, I guess kids these days don't know how to use BitTorrent anymore. I'll try to upload it to Internet Archive but it will take a while.

I saved the entire Artemis II video stream (60GB, 230 hours, 1080p) if anyone wants it.

Fire up your BitTorrent client and get this: https://data.nicolas17.xyz/NASA-ArtemisII-Live-Mission-Coverage-m3kR2KK8TEs.mkv.torrent

I’ve had a bunch of people ask my thoughts on Anthropic’s Mythos. I’ve read the research paper they released and the numbers, and basically I agree with @malwaretech’s take. It’s marketing. The cybersecurity industry is historically very good at marketing cyber pearl harbour and the need to buy magic boxes.
Here you go: https://data.nicolas17.xyz/NASA-ArtemisII-Live-Mission-Coverage-m3kR2KK8TEs.mkv.torrent (BitTorrent, 60GB, and excuse my upload speed)
I downloaded the entire "NASA's Artemis II Live Mission Coverage" broadcast from YouTube and wow who'd have thought putting 230 hours of video in a single 60GB file would be problematic in some video players :D

Apparently Vogue magazine is suing a dog-fashion magazine called Dogue: https://people.com/vogue-publisher-conde-nast-suing-parody-dog-fashion-magazine-dogue-11930022

Dogue has a circulation of < 100 and is free online. Also, it's about dogs. Having read the latest issue, it's also absolutely adorable. I'm happy to help Streisand this nonsense: https://thedoguemagazine.com/

The AI Great Leap Forward

In 1958, Mao ordered every village to produce steel. The steel was useless. The crops rotted. Today's top-down AI mandates are producing the same pattern: ba...

After dealing with several technical issues playing YouTube on my Raspberry Pi 1, my plan to leave the Artemis stream playing on the old CRT TV at the bar was ultimately defeated by another group taking the table in front of the TV before us nerds arrived. Oh well.

Will anything interesting happen in the NASA Artemis II stream between Thu 22:00 and Fri 2:00 UTC?

I plan to have the stream playing in a public venue, and if eg. the last hour of that period will be boring and silent, I could play it 1h delayed instead of live. But I need to set it up in advance!
