This Tuesday & Sunday, Kaurna Yerta/Adelaide: The US and Israeli war on Iran was designed to weaken a regime that has challenged imperialism. Ever since Iranâs 1979 revolution, the US has sought revenge against Iranâs Shia Muslim theocracy and has demanded regime change. But Iranâs government also represses its own people and works to build its own wealth and power across the region.
This discussion meeting will look at why the West hates Iran and why US and Israeli bombing does nothing to help the fight for democracy inside Iran.
The meeting will be run twice:
⢠6 pm Tuesday 22 July: inner south west, contact 0447 362 417 for location
⢠3:30 pm Sunday 27 July: Meeting Room 5, Spence Wing, State Library of South Australia
